We finally have something positive to announce out of the Pentagon.
Not surprisingly, it has absolutely nothing to do with Joe Biden.
This week, the Air Force unveiled its new B-21 Raider Stealth Bomber, which is about as badass as it gets.
Looking Good
The contract for the new bomber was awarded in 2015.
Northrop was given a hefty check of $203 billion to deliver 100 stealth bombers.
This payment covered development, purchasing, and all operational costs on the first order.
Dough Young, sector vice president and general manager at Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems, stated, “The B-21 is the most advanced military aircraft ever built and is a product of pioneering innovation and technological excellence.
“The Raider showcases the dedication and skills of the thousands of people working every day to deliver this aircraft.”
Six of the aircraft are expected to be flying missions at some point in 2023.
With the way Joe Biden has been handing our military resources over to Ukraine, don’t be surprised if we see one defending Ukraine before we see them defending our own country (and yes, I am being sarcastic).
