There has been a huge turnaround in the New York gubernatorial election.
Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.), who has been trailing huge this entire race, is now ahead.
If Democrats lose this election, it will be absolutely devastating.

I always questioned why Zeldin would give up his cushy House seat to run for the mansion when it seemed he would have little chance.
It would appear I was quite wrong.
Even if he loses, at this point, he has put such a scare into Democrats, they are going to have no choice but to start cracking down on crime.
After the latest Trafalgar poll came out with Zeldin ahead, 48.4 to 47.6, he took a quick victory lap.
He stated, “Crime Wave Kathy is driving New York right off a cliff.
“To repeal cashless bail, fire rogue DAs like Alvin Bragg, stop congestion pricing, and take other bold action to save our state, Hochul’s gotta go.
“On November 8th, we are going to win this race for governor, because we have to win this race. Losing is not an option.
“New Yorkers throughout the state are sick and tired of the attacks on our wallets, safety, freedom and kids’ education.
“They’re fed up with the direction of Kathy Hochul’s New York, her rampant pay-to-play corruption, soaring crime, and crushing costs.”
This is definitely exciting, but I would tell him to pump the brakes just a bit.
Let’s see more polling and more importantly, let’s not count those votes before they are tallied up.
Zeldin is going to need every Republican in the state to vote for him as well as quite a few Independents and moderate Democrats to pull this off.
Let’s hope that poll is not an outlier.
