I love Governor Ron DeSantis.
He is not my governor, but I would vote for him in a heartbeat if I lived in Florida.
He stole a page from Governor Abbott’s playbook and dropped off some migrants in a sanctuary state.
Only he is going after the big boys.
Stay With Obama
DeSantis put $12 million in his last budget to cover the transportation of illegal immigrants out of his state.
He just spent some of that money by taking two planes of illegal immigrants and shipping them off to Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.
He must have figured that since Obama has a $12 million mansion, he can put them up until they can fend for themselves.
DeSantis’ office confirmed the drop-off, stating, “Yes, Florida can confirm the two planes with illegal immigrants that arrived in Martha’s Vineyard today were part of the state’s relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations.
“States like Massachusetts, New York and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as ‘sanctuary states’ and support for the Biden administration’s open border policies.”
The office of Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker responded, “The Baker-Polito Administration is in touch with local officials regarding the arrival of migrants in Martha’s Vineyard.
“At this time, short-term shelter services are being provided by local officials, and the Administration will continue to support those efforts.”
