On Monday, New York City Mayor Eric Adams made national headlines.
It was not for anything he did, though.
Rather, it was because Adams announced that one of the migrants at a New York facility had taken her own life.
Get Ready for It
In breaking the news, Adams stated, “The thousands of asylum seekers we have seen arrive in our city came to this country seeking a better life.
“Sadly, though, yesterday, an asylum seeker in one of our facilities took her own life.”
The woman had been staying at the Hollis Family Shelter in Queens.
Adams did not go into more detail, such as if the woman was among those transported by Abbott, how she killed herself, or any other information that would have provided some clarity.
What we can count on, however, is that this will be set up to try to make Governor Abbott responsible for her death.
Now, I am not trying to sound heartless, but maybe this woman killed herself because this “better life” she sought out was not here.
This country is reeling right now, with people making six figures struggling to pay their bills.
How is someone that comes to this country with no money, no job, and no place to stay supposed to make it?
This is not on Abbott… it is on the fact that Joe Biden refuses to enforce our border laws and two million people tried to sneak into this country this year.
