Shockingly, the man expected to run and be the favorite just fought off a recall effort.
I am speaking of Governor Gavin Newsom of California.
When Joe Biden was recently asked about running, he responded, “Look, my intention, as I said to begin with, is that I would run again.
“But it’s just an intention.
“But is it a firm decision that I run again?
“That remains to be seen.”
This likely depends on his approval rating, which is still underwater.
Sources close to Gavin Newsom have told the Wrap that the moment Biden bows out, Newsom is in.
The source stated, “After this midterm election is over, he absolutely is going to announce that he is running for the presidency once Biden announces that he is not running.
“No ifs, ands, or buts. He will run if Biden does not.”
Newsom does not want any problems from Biden, so his camp is denying the report, but we all saw this coming.
Newsom has been going after DeSantis and Abbott in the media recently, clearly trying to raise his national profile.
It truly is a sad state of the party, however, when people are excited to see a failed governor run for president.
