Well, it is official.
Dr. Anthony Fauci will finally be leaving his government position.
Fauci announced on Monday that he would be stepping away from the NIAID.
Going on the Defensive
Fauci had initially stated that he would leave at the end of Joe Biden’s first term.
That strategy seems to have changed with projections of Republicans taking over the House, possibly even the Senate.
Either way, they get control of one chamber, and Fauci is going down.
He repeatedly lied under oath, made numerous bad calls, and is seemingly protecting Chinese interests.
His thought process must be that nobody will come after him if he is out of government service.
Well, he is wrong.
At the top of the list is Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), who is out for blood…
Fauci’s resignation will not prevent a full-throated investigation into the origins of the pandemic. He will be asked to testify under oath regarding any discussions he participated in concerning the lab leak.
