Democrat cities are turning into free for all’s lately.
This weekend, there were about two dozen shootings in Philadelphia, which is quickly turning into the new Chicago.
In Seattle, people were sent scrambling at an illegal street racing event.
Blood in the Streets
The scene in Seattle was like something out of “Fast and Furious.”
Street racers took over the streets, with police nowhere in sight.
Then shots rang out, leaving five dead in the street.
In the answer to your first question, why were there no police?
Well, in Seattle, officers are not permitted to have vehicle pursuits, so why even bother responding to the call if they cannot chase and apprehend anyone?
So, these kids just take over streets at will for these big and yes, illegal, street racing events.
I mean, look at this nonsense…
On officer stated, “Our hands are pretty much tied when it comes to racing.
“Even when we respond, the racers, due to their sheer quantities, overpower us and it puts our officers into dangerous situations and at risk of being attacked or surrounded.
“We get calls for service to ‘clear the lots’ and the most we can really do is drive by with our lights on and hope they congregate elsewhere.
“If we do try to take enforcement action, the new laws forbidding us to pursue for lower-level crimes just emboldens the racers to elude.
“It is to the point where communities, businesses, and police are frustrated and being victimized by the racers.
“After the shooting Saturday night, our detective unit spent over 14 hours processing the crime scene and investigating, only to be met with hostile witnesses and subjects shot who won’t provide a statement.
“Unfortunately all we, the police, can do is wait for something to happen and respond to clean up the mess.”
Liberals have turned law and order into a complete and utter joke.
