Another college campus shooting has polarized the country.
Monday night, shots rang out at two different locations on the Michigan State University campus.
Three people were killed, and five more were injured.
The gunman eventually turned his weapon on himself and ended his life.
Tragedy Strikes
The shooting started right around 8:15 p.m. at Berkey Hall.
The shooter walked into the building and just started to randomly fire at people.
He left that building and proceeded to go to the MSU Union, again randomly opening fire on students.
When he was done, three students were dead and five more were injured.
The alleged shooter has no ties to the university and authorities are completely baffled as to why this happened.
Deputy Chief Chris Rozman stated, “This truly has been a nightmare that we are living tonight, but we have remained laser-focused on the safety of our campus, our students, and our surrounding community.”
Students were taking cover wherever they could, with some even saying they had been preparing for such an event.
The shooting remains under investigation.
