When are these people going to learn that someone is always listening?
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has resigned.
The reason… a hot mic moment.
It’s Always On
Ardern got caught on a hot mic calling opposition leader David Seymour an “arrogant p—-.”
She started to come under fire for the comments, which ultimately led to her decision to resign.
In her announcement, she stated, “I’m leaving, because with such a privileged role comes responsibility.
“The responsibility to know when you are the right person to lead and also when you are not.
“I know what this job takes.
“And I know that I no longer have enough in the tank to do it justice. It’s that simple.”
Ardern has been in power during several challenging times, including COVID, where she chose to lock down the country as tight as a drum.
That lockdown earned her strong disapproval grades, which surely factored into her decision to step down.
