Former President Donald Trump has just received some wonderful news. The court decided to pause Judge Arthur Engoron’s efforts to revoke Trump Organization’s New York business certificates.
The news of the Trump Organization and its associates receiving a favorable response from the New York Appellate Court Division has been met with much joy. The court has put a halt to any attempts by New York Attorney General Letitia James, and Judge Arthur Engoron, to take away the organization’s business certificates in New York.
Eric Trump expressed his thanks on Twitter for this decision, stating that it was an “overzealous attempt.” In addition, he pointed out that such action violated fundamental constitutional rights and due process since those charged were not given their day in court.

Letitia James initiated a lawsuit against Donald Trump alleging that he had engaged in activities which amounted to fraud over several years – particularly concerning how he valued his real estate assets. It was claimed that these tactics enabled him to receive more advantageous loan conditions and insurance premiums.
Additionally, it was asserted that he exaggerated his net worth by large amounts ranging from $812 million to as much as $2.2 billion annually. If found guilty, this could result in fines amounting up to $250 million dollars and bar him from engaging in any form of business activity within New York State.
Trump’s legal team argued vehemently against these charges, arguing there was no evidence indicating public harm caused by any business activities Trump may have undertaken – they also maintained that due to statutes of limitations the case should be dismissed altogether. Despite this defense being presented again and again at court hearings, Judge Engoron likened it to Bill Murray’s famous movie ‘Groundhog Day’ where events kept repeating themselves.
During her interview with viewers, Alina Habba gave some encouraging news claiming things weren’t looking too good for her adversary. She stated she believed they shouldn’t have even been present at court but went ahead anyways with all guns blazing and won out due largely in part because their key witness said everything required perfectly.
She concluded saying she thought this would be bad news for Letitia James at the end of the day as ultimately “the Trump Organization did nothing wrong.”
