Well, now that Joe Biden has announced, he has also revealed who his campaign staff will be.

It seems like we are about to go back in time to the labor movement of the 1960s.

Biden has taken on former Kamala Harris campaign adviser Julia Chavez Rodriguez to run the campaign.

I’m a Union Guy

Joe Biden appears to be looking to really push the pro-union narrative here.

I say that because Rodriguez is the granddaughter of labor icon Cesar Chavez.

Chavez famously led protests to protect migrant grape-picking jobs on farms.

In fact, when he did his hunger strike, his granddaughter joined him for three days.

Chavez was a Democrat golden child during his day, seen often with JFK during his presidential campaign.

Rodriquez would also appear to be a nod to pacify Harris, who used her during her failed presidential campaign.

On the new appointment, Biden stated, “To win this fight, we need strong leadership that can build and expand our broad, diverse coalition from 2020.

“Julie and Quentin are trusted, effective leaders that know the stakes of this election and will bring their knowledge and energy to managing a campaign that reaches all Americans.”

Mike Gonzalez, a senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation, was baffled by the choice.

He stated, “This is not a person who speaks about the future.

“This is a person that represents the past.

“It’s like they’re stuck in the late 60s.”

As I noted, Biden appears to be ready to make his stand as the union guy, so Gonzalez is not really far off in his assessment.
