I believe that most people reading this would agree that our government, as a whole, is corrupt.
For most administration officials, a post is nothing more than a springboard to the private sector where they can clean up.
This is especially true in the think tank and lobbying sector.
They are more or less the same thing these days, but the government does not look at it that way.
That is the only thing saving a former Biden official.

Clare McCann, who served as a senior policy adviser in the U.S. Department of Education, is now a “higher education fellow” for Arnold Ventures.
McCann was appointed to her position in the administration in mid-2021 and left by August 2022.
Now she is lobbying the department where she used to work, but the Biden administration and McCann’s new boss say she is not doing anything wrong because Arnold Ventures, technically, is not a lobbying firm.
A conservative watchdog group is now trying to get McCann’s emails from when she was working for the Department of Education to see if anything fishy was going on before she quit.
Tom Jones, president of the American Accountability Foundation (AAF), stated, “When politicians wonder why Americans don’t trust Washington, people like Clare McCann are exactly why.
“She served in a senior role in the Department of Education in one of its most politicized offices for a year and a half and then parlayed that job into a position with a special interest group to lobby on the issues she used to regulate.
“The revolving door at the Department of Education needs to be closed immediately, and people who have abused the system need to be held accountable.”
If those emails uncover any communications at all with Arnold Ventures, both McCann and Biden are going to have some hard questions to answer.
