A pro-life activist with Live Action was attacked while interviewing people on the streets of New York City on April 3, with one pro-abortion activist punching her in the face and leaving her bruised and bloody.
Savannah Craven, an activist who works for the pro-life organization Live Action, was attacked for asking passerby a simple question: “Do you know what Planned Parenthood does?” She was attempting to educate people about the perception of Planned Parenthood versus the reality of what they actually do.
A pro-abortion activist did not take to kindly to her simple question, as she attacked her after a short conversation.
“You don’t understand the magnitude of having a child,” the pro-abortion activist claimed in response to the question.
“I’m not the one who admitted they would be okay with killing babies in foster care and killing children that had been abused,” Craven responded, pointing out how the leftist pro-abortion argument could be applied to living children in bad situations.
The pro-abortion activist responded, “That’s my point,” but as Craven tried to reply, the woman punched her and knocked her to the ground.
When the pro-abortion activist attempted to assault the peaceful pro-life activist again, Craven’s husband put himself between his wife and her attacker.
Craven was transported to the hospital for her injuries, and photos and videos of her bloody face were soon shared on social media.

Speaking with Live Action, her husband stated: “[We] were out on the street in Harlem doing some street interviews. My wife … was assaulted by a pro-abortion woman we were interviewing… The woman became aggressive and violent upon learning Savannah’s pro-life stance. I intervened to protect my wife and we immediately called 911. The police arrived, and we provided them with the assailant’s photo and description. We hope justice will be served soon.”
Adam Francisco, who noted that he was a friend of Craven, shared a video of her while they were driving to the hospital, writing: “My friend and fellow content creator Savannah Craven was just assaulted in NYC by a pro-abortion liberal while filming street interviews today. Her husband captured everything on camera and the video is expected to go live tonight on her YouTube channel. She is currently in an NYPD car searching for the attacker where the incident occurred.”
He also called on his followers and Craven’s followers to help identify the attacker:
