I rarely get upset over a celebrity death, but this one hit home just a bit.
Christine McVie has passed away.
She was 79 years old.
Songbird is Gone
Now, don’t me wrong…
It is not like I am going to be crying myself to sleep, but her death is the loss of one of the most prolific songwriters of our time.
She brought those songs to life for years with Stevie Nicks and the rest of Fleetwood Mac.
“Rumours,” which was released in 1977, remains one of the top albums of all time.

Her ability to tell a story and put it to music was just amazing.
And when those words came out of the mouths of Christine and Stevie, well, it really was magic.

It is sad to see musicians from the greatest era of Rock and Roll to continue to die off.
I am so sad to hear of Christine McVie going on to heaven. The world feels weird without her here. What a legend and an icon and an amazing human being. RIP https://t.co/nr6nfZ8rTM

There will never be another musical generation like it… of that I am sure.
Rest in peace, Songbird.
