It would appear that Gavin Newsom finally gets it.
After facing down a recall election, he realizes his party is pushing all the wrong buttons.
So much so, he just conceded that a red wave is likely in the upcoming cycle.
Bad Messaging
Newsom is a little late to the game on this, but he does finally realize that the message his party is offering is not resonating with voters.
They are pushing bad orange man, fighting for democracy, and abortion, but voters are interested in inflation, the economy, and inflation.
That being said, when Newsom was asked if it feels like a red wave will be hitting the party on Tuesday, he stated, “Yeah. Of course it does.
“And again, I’m not paid to say that, I’m paid to say, you know, [indistinguishable] — I get it.
“Look, I mean, I could be the cheerleader. I’m also a pragmatist. You feel it.”

Oh, and by the way, Gavin, you are actually paid to represent the people of California, not spew party rhetoric.
And I don’t care what this man says… he is making a move to run for the presidency.
