White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is a certified spin artist.
She also loves to not answer questions asked.
Her two favorite outs are the Hatch Act and not wanting to impede a current investigation.
Well, constitutional expert Jonathan Turley just shot that excuse train right down.
Irrelevant
As I have been saying all along, Turley believes that KJP is dodging questions.
She had yet another testy press briefing today, repeating the same phrases that Joe Biden has no idea how the documents got there, he was surprised they were there, and he respects classified information.
I would say all three are a lie, but what do I know.
Turley is another matter altogether, and he came to pretty much the same conclusion.
He stated, “It is increasingly painful to watch Karine Jean-Pierre as she argues that they have been ‘transparent’ by being transparently unwilling to answer any questions.
“Nothing prevents the White House from answering basic questions about the scandal. It will not undermine the Justice Department for the White House to confirm the President’s position and recollection.
“The silence protects the President not the investigation.”

The bottom line here is that Biden got caught with his hands in the cookie jar and now they are scrambling to figure out how to cover it all up.
