U.S. District Court Judge T. Kent Wetherell II laughed in Joe Biden’s face when he heard what Karine Jean-Pierre had to say about his order. The one that blocks their illegal mass “parole” scheme solid. For a second time. They had a plan to magically transform migrants into citizens but it’s illegal. The same court already ruled the scheme illegal once. Changing the labels doesn’t make it any less illegal, he pointed out this time around. Thanks to the judge’s “sabotage,” it’s back to the drawing board for Alejandro Mayorkas.
Judge answers back
Judge Wetherell declared “Parole Plus Alternatives to Detention” unconstitutional back in March and the DOJ declined to file an appeal. They knew then that Wetherell was right. He rhetorically ripped them a new one in that opinion.
Biden and Mayorkas ignored it and changed the names to protect the guilty. As Title 42 finally sank into the sunset, Florida and Texas went back to court.
They asked Wetherell to stop the madness once again. He did. “Parole with Conditions” is exactly the same, the judge declared. There aren’t any “material differences” between the two policies. That means this one is just as illegal and must stop now. He blocked it for a full two weeks just for safety. Joe Biden’s Minister of Propaganda, Karine Jean-Pierre, called the ruling “sabotage.”

Mayorkas went on TV to whine, “we think it’s a very harmful ruling when, in fact, our border patrol stations become overcrowded, it is a matter of the safety and security of people, including our own personnel, not just the vulnerable migrants, to be able to release them.”
That’s a good one, Judge Wetherell laughs back.
“This ignorant and dangerous rhetoric ignores the fact that the evidence presented in this case shows that the chaos that the [alleged] president acknowledged has been going on at the southern border for a number of years, is largely a problem of the defendants,’ the administration’s, own making. If it is sabotage for a federal court to tell the federal government it must comply with the law, then so be it.” They asked him to temporarily block his block and he said no. In fact, he called it “borderline frivolous.”
Chicken Little arguments
Judge Wetherell wasn’t happy to have to spend weekend time answering the deranged fantasies of liberals and he let them have it in his ruling.
“DHS’s Chicken Little arguments about the impact of it not being able to (mis)use ‘parole‘ under either policy as a processing tool for the surge of aliens arriving at the border are hard to square with the DHS Secretary’s recent comments that only ‘a fraction of the people that we encounter‘ would be paroled into the country and that ‘the vast majority will be addressed in our border patrol facilities and our ICE detention facilities.‘”
The judge is totally right and the illegal program was the key to their whole conspiracy. They now need to tell roughly 200,000 migrants that their invitations to the party are worthless.

They have to be held in custody until they get deported. There won’t be many of them actually getting approved and they won’t be simply herded in and released as expected. It will be interesting to see how they break the news to the masses.
The situation DHS now finds itself in is effectively one of its own making, Judge Wetherell scolded. It’s hard to expect sympathy when it’s totally clear that they intentionally waited until the last minute, just so they could call it a crisis.
They made the crisis, they can figure out how to get out of it. Biden and Mayorkas may simply decide to disobey the order and let them all in anyway. We might end up being able to hang them over that type of treason someday.
