Earlier this week, a firestorm blew through the LA City Council.
The council president was caught on tape giving a racist rant from a year ago.
She has since stepped down.
Now the White House is demanding all the council members present at the time of the conversation give up their seats.

The rant by Nury Martinez was utterly disgusting.
The group was talking about a fellow council member who is white that had adopted a black boy as his son.
Martinez even referred to the boy as a monkey and suggested giving the child a beatdown.
No stranger to racist remarks, Joe Biden has said that he thinks they all need to resign.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated, “Look, the president is glad to see that one of the participants in that conversation has resigned.
“But they all should. He believes that they all should resign.”
Then she took her shot at MAGA, stating, “They should all step down and here’s the difference between Democrats and MAGA Republicans: when a Democrat says something racist or anti-Semitic, we would — we hold them, we hold Democrats accountable.
“When a MAGA Republican says something racist or anti-Semitic, they are embraced by cheering crowds and become celebrated and sought-after endorsements.”
