Get ready for some thick sarcasm here because I cannot take this man seriously.
During a podcast, Jimmy Kimmel stated that he probably lost half his fan base over his Trump “jokes.”
Then he tried to sound like a tough guy by saying he would not back down from corporate executives.
Hurting the Show
Kimmel, who somehow considers whining about conservatives a “joke,” stated, “I have lost half of my fans — maybe more than that.
“10 years ago among Republicans I was the most popular talk show host.”
When the bosses told him he should think about chilling out on the Trump stuff, he stated, “I just said, ‘If that’s what you want to do, I understand and I don’t begrudge you for it, but I’m not going to do that.’
“If you want somebody else to host the show, then that’s fine. That’s OK with me. I’m just not going to do it like that.”
Then he said they “backed off” because they knew he was “serious,” as if they could not get some other talking head to come in there and destroy their ratings the way he was.
Here’s the thing… Kimmel has zero ground to stand on, having openly done blackface…
And sexualized women for profit…
Everyone seems to forget about “The Man Show.”
And listen, I watched that show, and I could care less that he did it, but don’t get up here and preach to me now as though you are holier than though and above it all.
