The IRS has been accused of covering up the Hunter Biden crime investigation, supposedly in progress. The things Hunter is being probed for also have serious national security implications affecting Joe Biden. Claims of undue influence exercised by the Chinese. Illinois Democrat Senator Dick Durbin publicly promised Americans that he will take “seriously” the allegations raised by an IRS whistleblower. That’s really good news for conservatives because he’s chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Angry Americans intend to make him keep his word.
Biden crime probe cover
The thing which makes this latest development in the Biden family crime drama so important is that a ranking Democrat is finally acknowledging the seriousness of the allegations. Dick Durbin serves as chairman over the Senate Judiciary Committee. On Thursday, April 20, he made Joe nearly swallow his ice cream spoon by vowing to take an IRS whistleblower’s claim “seriously.”
The claim that a currently unidentified IRS employee made is that the Infernal Revenue Service has been running a politically motivated cover-up of Hunter Biden’s criminal investigation. You can’t blame them for using the tried-and-true strategy of continuing to investigate until long after everyone forgets about the crime. Like they did with Uranium One. That investigation was started by Eric Holder and the file’s still open. Just ask Douglas Campbell. He’s the prime witness and still hoping to someday get a chance to testify.
Senator Durbin sent Biden family lawyers scrambling for damage control experts by declaring “we take all whistleblower statements seriously, as we should.” He’s not going out on a limb and suggesting the claims have “merit” but it’s a huge step in the right direction that he acknowledges they are serious charges. Ones which need to be addressed properly.

No matter what the charges are, the chairman insists, his committee will “take them all seriously at the outset and look at them closely.” Fair enough. Americans are convinced that the Bidens have been running an influence peddling scheme like a major crime syndicate and the weaponized Deep State has been working behind the scenes to keep them from facing any consequences.
Durbin’s statement was prompted by a call from South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham “for a ‘bipartisan‘ embrace of the currently unidentified IRS employee.” On Wednesday, the source’s lawyers came forward to inform “key congressional committee leaders that he has information.”
Specifically, he wants to blow the whistle on “preferential treatment” and “false testimony to Congress” about the case. The IRS is covering up Biden family crime with crimes of their own. And Joe wants all those armed agents?

A compromised investigation
The question of a compromised crime investigation is a serious one and should be treated that way, as Graham noted. “I hope the committee will take this seriously. I think [Senate] Finance and [House] Ways and Means have the first shot at this. But the whole idea that maybe the investigation was compromised was a DOJ matter, not just an IRS matter, and many of us worked in a bipartisan fashion with the Mueller investigation.”
Durbin quickly came to the conclusion he’s right and backed him up. Durbin will represent the Democrat side of the aisle and at least gives lip service to looking into it honestly and fairly. Whether he’ll keep that promise or use his position to block real progress later remains to be seen.
All along, Joe Biden has been ducking all the questions about the list of nine family members implicated in accepting cash in huge amounts directly from the Chinese. Particularly ranking Communist Party officials including “the effing spy-chief of China.” That Biden business partner has subsequently been “disappeared.”

When the palace propaganda corps gets cornered with questions on the subject of Biden family crime, they have a standard reply. “We’ve been very clear to not comment on anything related to any type of investigation,” Karine Jean-Pierre quipped Thursday morning.
Joe’s handlers insist that Joe made a promise to “restore the independence of the Justice Department.” What that really means is that Merrick Garland is actually running this country. Joe is staying out of Garland’s way and letting all the lawyers handle the crime nastiness. Meanwhile, the whistleblower has a lawyer, too. Mark Lytle informed Congress on Wednesday afternoon that he wants to expose “preferential treatment” in the criminal investigation and false testimony to Congress by a “senior political appointee.” His client “has already made legally protected disclosures internally at the IRS, through counsel to the US Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, and to the Department of Justice, Office of Inspector General.”
What he already entered into evidence does three things. “(1) contradict sworn testimony to Congress by a senior political appointee, (2) involve failure to mitigate clear conflicts of interest in the ultimate disposition of the case, and (3) detail examples of preferential treatment and politics improperly infecting decisions and protocols that would normally be followed by career law enforcement professionals in similar circumstances if the subject were not politically connected.” If that’s not crime, what is?
