While the battle rages on the frontlines of the Hamas-Israel conflict, it appears some have also taken to social media to conduct war. Iran recently sent an ominous three word warning to Israel on Twitter and you won’t believe how Israel chose to reply.
It all began when Iran posted a message on social media that said “time is up” – a clear threat against Israel. In response, Israel sent back a GIF beckoning Iran to bring it on. But things didn’t end there; Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdallohian then followed up by posting an exaggerated number of casualties from a Gaza hospital explosion that Arba world blamed on Israel (which Israel denied).
He wrote that “after the terrible crime of the Zionist regime in the bombing and massacre of more than 1,000 innocent women and children in the hospital, the time has come for global unity of humanity against this fake regime,” adding “time is OVER!”

In addition to his rhetoric, Amir-Abdollahian suggested that Iran would unleash its servant militias against Israel if their demands were not met soon. He warned that “if the war crimes against Palestinians are not immediately stopped, other multiple fronts will open and this is inevitable.”
Furthermore, he stated that pre-emptive action could take place as quickly as “the coming few hours” since Iran-backed militias would not allow “the Zionist regime to do whatever it wants in Gaza.”
There was a recent attack on al Asad air base in Iraq which houses US forces but no one was hurt according to Reuters reports. Kataib Hezbollah – an Iranian linked militia group – condemned Americans saying they must leave Iraq or else they will “taste the fire of hell in this world before the afterlife”.
Hadi Al Amiri – leader of an Iranian backed faction – called out western nations for what he considered war crimes committed during attacks on Gaza hospitals. He warned that his group would consider America and West partners with regards to these atrocities if nothing changes soon.
