Get ready for some fun with the election results in Pennsylvania again.
In what will be one of the most watched Senate elections in the country, it is likely to be days before we get the final results.
Election officials in the state have already come forward to say there will be no results posted on November 8.
No Results
I am guessing that they will need time to figure out how many votes Oz won by so they can make out extra ballots and turn them in for Fetterman.
No, no, I am just kidding.
Even though it accepts early voting, PA does not start counting the ballots received until election day.
That is rather idiotic in my eyes, as it would be very easy to count ballots as they come in and just keep the results protected until election day.
But that would make sense, something most government officials lack these days.
Acting Pennsylvania Secretary of the Commonwealth Leigh Chapman stated, “The best we can do is just manage expectations and let voters know that election officials need to do their job.
“They need to ensure that they’re counting every vote, and delays in results does not mean anything bad is happening.
“It doesn’t mean ballots are showing up out of nowhere.
“It’s because of that restriction where we can’t start preprocessing or canvassing those votes until election morning.”
Pennsylvania had more than one million ballots requested and more than half of them have been returned already.
So, we probably will not see a result in the state until Thursday or Friday.
