South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has considerably raised her profile over the last couple years.
She has found herself in a spot to be a likely candidate for a VP position or a high cabinet spot in a GOP administration.
She is one of a handful of women the party has tagged for a possible presidential run in the near future.

All that being said, she now has a target on her back for the extreme left in this country.
To that point, after Health Secretary Joan Adam announced that she was “retiring,” Noem has found herself with a lawsuit on her hands.
Adam’s retirement seems as though it may have been forced after a six-figure contract with The Transformation Project was revealed.
After Adam’s retired, Noem canceled the contract with the statement, “South Dakota does not support this organization’s efforts.”
Now the group is suing Noem, stating that canceling the contract was “uncalled for and was, in fact, discrimination.
“We believe that our contract was not broken and that the State’s claims against us are unfounded.”
Noem has been adamant that she will not fund transgender transitioning, but Adam’s clearly did not get the memo.
Now they can fight it out in court.
