A GOP Senate candidate is not only slamming President Trump, but he also proceeded to burn a MAGA hat and call him a dirty word as well.
The Republican party has seen its fair share of defectors since former President Donald Trump’s ascent to the White House in 2016. Of course, most of these departures were a result of the extreme right-wing views touted by Trump and his base. On the other hand, there were other defections that occurred because Trump’s views weren’t extreme enough.
This is where far-right former Senate candidate Daniel McCarthy of Arizona comes in. For several years, McCarthy has been vocally pro-Trump, even asking then-President Trump to enlist him as the vice president over Mike Pence and endorsing Trump to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
However, shortly after what many are calling a deadly failed insurrection against the United States Capitol in 2021, McCarthy seemed to switch gears on the 45th president.
According to McCarthy, the Capitol Riots were a “staged event” and Trump is merely a “pawn for the cabal.” McCarthy also heavily criticized Trump for not firing National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci, whose guidance on the pandemic advice has enraged conservatives since the early days of the illness.
It has now been two years since his failed Senate bid and McCarthy has released an ad that totally skewers Trump, but at the same time challenging him to a debate at one of the former president’s upcoming Arizona rallies.
McCarthy addresses Trump in the video with the following challenge:
“The world is waking up to your massive grift. Please stop with the smoke and mirrors with these audits, stop with your fundraising, stop with establishment candidate endorsements. Stop pushing this gene therapy sauce. I hear you’re coming to Florence, Arizona for another one of your do-nothing, rah-rah session rallies. I have an offer for you. I will give $1 million to the charity of your choice if you take 30 minutes of your stage time on January 15 and debate me or answer my questions even in front of your crowd.”
McCarthy went on to accuse Trump of ushering in “medical tyranny”, exploding the national debt, eroding American sovereignty, and setting up the “protester” on January 6, 2021, among other grievances.
McCarthy concludes:
“I look forward to seeing you on January 15, although I know you won’t do it, ’cause you’re a little b**ch.”
He then takes a flamethrower to one of Trump’s MAGA hats and proceeds to flatten the charred hat with a truck.
Donald Trump: he’s either too radical or not radical enough, depending on one’s perspective. For this former GOP Senate candidate, he wasn’t radical enough.
