ICYMI – Well, Rep. Boebert (R-CO) could not celebrate just yet after the election.
The Colorado Secretary of State ordered a recount of the 2022 election.
Since the final tally was within 0.5 percent, the recount was automatically triggered.

Now, neither party expected the result to change here, even though the final tally was only a margin of about 550 votes.
Based on history, they should not have expected to see this total swing by more than 200 votes, which would be a lot.
Boebert’s opponent, Adam Frisch, had already conceded the race and was not pushing for a recount.
He has also stated that he did not expect this result to change.
But, it’s the law, so they had to go through the process.
Rep. Boebert did not seem to be worried, stating, “Come January, you can be certain of two things.
“I will be sworn in for my second term as your congresswoman and Republicans can finally turn Pelosi’s house back into the People’s House.”
This was an election that never should have been this close, so hopefully Boebert took some lessons from this little scare and does better during her next term.
