Fox News has finally set up its weekday lineup.

Based on the numbers we have seen in the past, this is not good news for rival networks.

Even with the loss of Tucker Carlson, the nightly prime-time lineup is a menu of Fox News stars that should obliterate the competition.

Game On

The new lineup will go into effect on July 17.

FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott announced the new lineup on Monday.

Laura Ingraham will kick things off at 7:00 p.m. with the “Ingraham Angle.”

Jesse Watters will now work the 8:00 p.m. time slot with “Jesse Watters Primetime.”

Sean Hannity will keep the coveted 9:00 p.m. slot with “Hannity.”

And Greg Gutfeld will bat cleanup in the 10:00 p.m. slot with “Gutfeld!”

Scott stated, “FOX News Channel has been America’s destination for news and analysis for more than 21 years and we are thrilled to debut a new lineup.

“The unique perspectives of Laura Ingraham, Jesse Watters, Sean Hannity, and Greg Gutfeld will ensure our viewers have access to unrivaled coverage from our best-in-class team for years to come.”

Ingraham has had the highest-rated female-hosted show on cable news, first launching in 2017.

She is, by far, the biggest shakeup of the lineup, leading off the day rather than doing cleanup work.

Watters had the highest-rated 7:00 p.m. show, so moving him to the 8:00 p.m. slot as Hannity’s lead-in makes perfect sense.

What I am curious to see is how “Gutfeld!” will fare in the new slot, having destroyed the late-night competition before this move.
