Many of us already had an inkling that Iran had a hand in the initial Hamas terror attack on Israel on October 7 however we didn’t have the exact evidence needed to back it up. Well, that’s just changed…intelligence reports have just exposed Iran’s actions.
It has recently come to light that in the weeks prior to the October 7th attack by Hamas on Israel, Iran had been training about 500 members of both Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. This training was reportedly led by Iran’s Quds Force, a foreign-operations arm of their Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
In attendance were senior Palestinian officials as well as Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, head of the Quds force. The surprise attack resulted in 1,400 people dead, most of them Israeli citizens; hundreds more were captured.

The situation between Israel and Palestine has always been an incredibly difficult one. Both sides have suffered greatly at different points throughout history but it appears as though things could be even more complicated if these reports regarding Iran’s involvement are true.
While there have been conflicting claims regarding whether or not they had any knowledge ahead of time about what actions would be taken by Hamas, it does seem clear that they have provided assistance in some way – whether financial or otherwise – prior to this tragic event occurring.
