Capitol police are heavily barricaded behind their security fences. They got so scared on Sunday when the People’s Convoy did what they said they were going to do, and looped around the beltway, that the Capitol Police Board issued an “emergency” declaration.

Emergency: Defend DC

Washington D.C. is on high alert with deplorable nationalists circling the beltway in big-rigs. They’re demanding enforcement of the Constitution which must be addressed on an emergency basis. The news blackout continues Monday.

Outlets are all reporting half the story from Sunday, when they dare to report anything at all.

Sketchy reports coming in on Monday indicate that the truckers went around the beltway today in both directions. That has yet to be confirmed. What has been verified is that today’s tour of the beltway featured “bobtail” semis. By not hauling a trailer they show they’re in the protest. Organizers make it crystal clear that truckers are NOT on strike.

The rigs going by with loads attached are just working Americans doing their jobs and feeding their families. Police can’t arrest anyone for following the law so instead, they declared an emergency.

Organizers aren’t saying much but the pattern indicates a speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland, is being used for convoy base camp. Word around the crowd is “keep your hotel.

They plan to stick around and continue touring around the beltway. They aren’t disrupting traffic or getting in anyone’s way. Panic stricken Democrats consider that an emergency. They said so officially.

Help from National Guard

Capitol Police say the emergency declaration was such a high priority because it “allows police to ask for help from the National Guard.

What they aren’t telling you is that it lets them have a little “stay-cation” at taxpayer expense. The declaration permits “payment for officers’ hotel and food costs.

According to House Sergeant at Arms William Walker, “the Capitol Police Board has issued an emergency declaration to ensure that the US Capitol police are able to operate and respond as necessary.” So far, after two full days of protest, nobody can see much difference in D.C.

Emergency

All of the action has been at the swap meet style rally. More word around the campfire is that big name politicos like Ted Cruz and Ron Johnson are planning to meet with the organizers.

Despite the convoy having zero impact on local traffic, Walker will have a transit emergency even if he has to engineer it himself. He wrote a letter to Congress members and their staff imploring them “to take an alternate path via public transit to work or to consider working remotely.

Police are terrified of road shutdowns but there haven’t been any and convoy organizers promise their won’t be. They say Democrats are confusing them with Black Lives Matter. Truckers are here to support law and order under the Constitution, not Antifa approved anarchy.
