Governor Ron DeSantis and his quest to protect children from lewd behavior took a major blow this weekend.

Two different judges ruled against new Florida laws.

The laws were recently passed by the state legislature to prevent child sex change operations and lewd drag shows for children.

Ridiculous

The cases were doomed the moment the judges were assigned.

In both cases, a Clinton-appointed judge presided over the case.

US District Judge Gregory Presnell blocked the law that would have prevented children from attending drag shows.

He stated that banning minors from “obscene live performances” is too broad of a category and violates of performers’ first amendment rights.

He added, “Florida already has statutes that provide such protection (from obscene performances).

“Rather, this statute is specifically designed to suppress the speech of drag queen performers.”

The law banned children from attending shows that “depicts or simulates nudity, sexual conduct, sexual excitement, specific sexual activities, … lewd conduct, or the lewd exposure of prosthetic or imitation genitals or breasts.”

This is where it really gets interesting.

This moron stated that the law failed to define what a “child,” “lewd conduct,” or “lewd exposure of prosthetic or imitation genitals or breasts,” means.

This is the length that Democrat judges will go to ensure our children are groomed into this lifestyle.

US District Judge Robert Hinkle also blocked a new law that would have prevented Medicaid from paying for gender affirmation treatment, such as puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries.

Hinkle claimed that the law violated the 14th Amendment.

The ruling stated, “I find that the plaintiffs’ motivation is love for their children and the desire to achieve the best possible treatment for them. This is not the State’s motivation.”

Governor DeSantis’ press secretary, Jeremy Redfern, responded, “We obviously disagree with the judge’s ruling.

“We will continue fighting against the rogue elements in the medical establishment that push ideology over evidence and protect against mutilating our kids.”

I just don’t understand how anyone can think this is normal.

We have gone from a nation that put protecting our children as a top priority to a nation where half the country is now feeding our children to predators.
