Donald Trump is not happy with Governor Ron DeSantis.
We are starting to see the aligning of powers in the GOP as we get closer to the next presidential election.
DeSantis just endorsed someone that Trump does not like, and Trump had no problem letting DeSantis know it.
Big Mistake
DeSantis endorsed Joe O’Dea.
O’Dea is losing his race in Colorado, so he is a long shot to get in at this point anyway.
Regardless, he has already stated that he will work against Trump if he decides to run for office
After DeSantis endorsed him, he sent out this tweet…

That got a response from Trump.
The former president had a short but unmistakable message for DeSantis.
He wrote, “A BIG MISTAKE!”
So, it sounds like Trump is going to pick a fight with DeSantis, which would not be a smart move.
Whether Trump wants to admit it or not, DeSantis is the future of this party.
Even if it is not in 2024, DeSantis will surely run in 2028, and it would not be a wise move for Trump to try to ruin his chances because he endorsed a candidate that has a beef with Trump.
