You have to love it when Democrats start turning on their own.
Usually, the only time Democrats will demand a resignation one of their own is after a conviction in a trial.
This time, the crime was so heinous, even her fellow Democrats wanted her gone.

Now, in case you did not notice, there was a tinge of sarcasm in that opening.
The Democrat to which I was referring is Democratic Minnesota state Sen. Nicole Mitchell.
She has been charged with breaking into the home of her stepmother and stealing the remains of her father as well as some personal items.
Joe Biden was accused of rape, Rep. Swalwell was accused of sleeping with a Chinese spy, and Senator Menendez was found with stacks of cash and gold bars in his house from a bribery scandal, but Dems never asked them to resign.
This is why I found the outrage over a woman trying to get some remembrances of her father so amusing.
Ken Martin, chairman of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, stated, “While Sen. Mitchell is entitled to her day in court, her continued refusal to take responsibility for her actions is beneath her office and has become a distraction for her district and the Legislature.
“Now that her constituents have had full representation through the end of the legislative session, it is time for her to resign to focus on the personal and legal challenges she faces.”
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, a Democrat, was also outraged and demanded her resignation.
So far, Mitchell has not caved, but she may not have a choice soon enough.
Her hearing is on June 10, at which time her hand may be forced.
