Bouncers “tried” to get things under control, everyone involved insists. Veteran video-journalist Andy Ngo is passing around this viral video of the brawl which broke loose outside a popular San Antonio nightclub. The whole thing’s worth watching but the part making it go viral is a particular body-slam move made by one of the security team.
Bouncers body-slam woman
The video recorded Saturday, April 1, and released a day later, shows bouncers attempting to control a wild crowd in the parking lot of Privat Social Club. According to a statement released by the club, “there were six fights occurring at once.”
There might be a lawsuit or two as well but that’s not certain because the “victims” all seem to have vanished. The mostly girl-on-girl brawl “looked like something out of a professional wrestling show.” Especially one particular move.
A woman of the large economy size persuasion suddenly found herself four feet off the ground and horizontal, looking straight up at the stars, before being body slammed onto the pavement by one of the bouncers.

She thudded down so hard that the cash in her purse splattered out all over the parking lot. She just lay there twitching. The videographer holding the camera had a lot of other action to cover and moved on.
The video also captures eye-popping images of several scantily clad women “wrestling and pulling each other’s hair.” The same one of the bouncers seen body slamming the woman to the pavement was also “seen pepper-spraying another woman who was screaming that she could not see.”
By the time police arrived, all was quiet and everyone was gone. They scattered off into the night and “no one involved in the scuffle has filed a police complaint.”
Security company speaks out
Precision Defense Group, the security company involved, issued a statement explaining some of the details on what happened in front of the bar from their perspective. The bouncers were outnumbered, they admit. They had six fights going on all at the same time and only two security guards.
“A crowd of clubgoers were seen on the street at the beginning of the video as they started to scrap as witnesses shouted ‘oh s**t,‘ which then led then led to a series of fights.” For instance, a “girl in a beige jumpsuit was seen dragging a girl by the hair to the ground in one shot and then started to throw punches at her. More fights broke out around them.”
That’s when one of the bouncers “violently bodyslammed a girl in a top and jeans. While that was happening, a man was seen in the video stealing a woman’s purse as she lay battered on the ground.” How nice.

“A girl was also seen dragging a fellow clubgoer by her arms, causing her dress to go up, exposing her underwear.” She can be forgiven considering the circumstances of the unforeseen wardrobe malfunction.
Privat claims “there were only two bouncers present at the time to handle the situation while they waited for police to arrive on the scene.” One of the club’s managing partners told local reporters that they are “awaiting more surveillance footage before taking further action.”
San Antonio Police Department notes “the fight had already been broken prior to police arrival, by security at the location. A female that was fighting with security was ‘maced‘ by security at the location, prior to police arrival. The female was then asked to leave and the female left (the) location.“
