We all know that any time there is a mass shooting, Democrats go after the Second Amendment.
This time it is a bit different, though, as Biden got a bit overzealous with his reach.
While the Biden clan was vacationing in Nantucket this weekend, Biden went ballistic, claiming he was going to ban ALL semi-automatic weapons.
Will Never Happen
In addressing the shooting in Colorado, Biden stated, “The idea we still allow semi-automatic weapons to be purchased is sick.
“Just sick. It has no socially redeeming value. Zero. None.
“Not a single solitary rationale for it except profit for the gun manufacturers.”
The reporter then asked Biden if he thought he would be able to make a serious move against guns, to which Biden replied, “I’m going to try. I’m going to try to get rid of assault weapons.”
I have to question if the man actually knows the definition of semi-automatic because that is literally just about every weapon on the market today except for single bolt action rifles and revolvers.
I am clearly not the only person thinking along those lines…
Banning semi-automatic guns, as Biden proposes here, would make illegal an overwhelming number of rifles, pistols, and shotguns.

Them: Biden doesn’t support gun confiscation. You’re paranoid and opposed to sensible gun reforms and safety.
Him: Assault weapons are semi-automatic and therefore should be banned because it’s sick people lawfully purchase them. https://t.co/c3IfQNB9HI

Biden does not have the numbers in the Senate to pass such legislation and in about five weeks, Democrats lose control of the House.
It is still baffling to me that this administration fails to look at the user and only the tool.
If Biden wanted to pass meaningful legislation on mental health right now, all by itself, it would have no problem at all getting through the House or Senate.
That, however, will never happen because both sides love to hide pet projects in legislation solely to get the other side to vote against the measure.
Even so, if I were McCarthy, as soon as the GOP took the House, I would be flooding the Senate with single-issue legislation that should be bipartisan.
Make it a policy of one bill, one issue, and force the hand of Democrats.
