Joe Biden… pro-union president.
That is, until the unions themselves threaten the entire economy of the country.
Then Joe sends in Congress to break them.
If Unions Are So Great
So, Joe Biden has touted himself as a union man for most of his career.
Why then, did he have to break them?
Biden called on Congress to force a contract through to prevent a union strike.
Why? Because if those wonderful unions did strike, they would have crippled our country.
And those unions that poured cash into his campaign are not happy about it.
The Railroad Workers United stated, “Joe Biden blew it.
“He had the opportunity to prove his labor-friendly pedigree to millions of workers by simply asking Congress for legislation to end the threat of a national strike on terms more favorable to workers.
“Sadly, he could not bring himself to advocate for a lousy handful of sick days. The Democrats and Republicans are both pawns of big business and the corporations.”
The union continued, “The ‘most labor-friendly president in history’ has proven that he and the Democratic Party are not the friends of labor they have touted themselves to be.
“These wolves in sheep’s clothing have for decades been in bed with corporate America and have allowed them to continue chipping away at the American middle class and organized labor.”
Whether it was the right thing or not for the country, this move will come back to haunt him.
