Oklahoma Red Dirt music fans are mourning.
Rising star Jake Flint has passed away.
He was only 37 years old.
Sad Day…
Flint reportedly died in his sleep.
He had just been married that afternoon and was as happy as he could possibly be.
His wife, Brenda Flint, was obviously devastated by the loss.
She stated, “We should be going through wedding photos but instead I have to pick out clothes to bury my husband in.
“People aren’t meant to feel this much pain.
“My heart is gone and I just really need him to come back.
“I can’t take much more. I need him here.”
Flint was starting to catch fire, having a local tour that would carry him through May 2023, traveling all over Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Based on the outpouring of affection on his social media pages, this young man was on the verge of an explosive career.
Sadly, that will never come to fruition now.
