Some of our hard-earned tax dollars recently went to an HHS study that was awarded to a research firm called Coforma.
The study was taking a look at Long COVID.
Specifically, it examined the impacts of those suffering from long COVID and how their lives could be made better.
The solution is to hold everyone else responsible.
Bring Back the Masks
The study stated, “The lifting of mask mandates and indifferent attitude toward masking and social distancing typical in many public and private places further isolates people with Long COVID.”
It added that officials should “encourage or mandate policies and protocols regarding masking and social distancing in public spaces.”
The study is currently up on the HHS website, so the administration is clearly in support of the findings.
Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine stated, “Listening to and learning from the experiences of long COVID patients is essential to accelerating understanding and breakthroughs.”
Levine touted the study as “evidence of our commitment to engaging communities to provide patient-led solutions.”
So, once again, the administration appears to be ready to punish the masses to protect the few.
How about the people with Long COVID just wear masks when they want to go out and play rather than making the entire country wear them?
Wouldn’t that just make a bit more sense?
Oh, I forgot, if there is one thing this administration lacks it is common sense.
