On July 1, Trump adviser Steve Bannon reported to jail to start to serve his term.
This week, just some reminders were posted about who was responsible besides the Democrat who referred him for an indictment.
There were a handful of Republicans who voted in favor of the referral, and I would imagine that MAGA wants to exact some revenge.
Remove Them
Most of the names on this list are already out of office, but there are a few stragglers that remain.
The Republicans that helped Dems send Bannon to jail are Adam Kinzinger, Anthony Gonzalez, John Katko, Nancy Mace, Jaime Herrera Beutler, Brian Fitzpatrick, Fred Upton, Peter Meijer, and Liz Cheney.
Bannon did his best to have his sentence delayed until after the election, but it was all to no avail.
Every motion fell on deaf ears, but Bannon was defiant until the end.
As he was reporting to serve his four-month sentence, he stated, “I’m proud of going to prison today.
“I have not only no regrets, I’m proud of what I did.
“I’ve served my country now for the last 10 or so years focusing on this.
“If I have to do it in a prison, I do it in a prison – it makes no difference at all.”
By the time Bannon gets out of jail, there were only a handful of days to help Trump, but something tells me that even prison will not keep Bannon quiet.
Bannon will be serving his time in a low-security facility in Connecticut.
He had been hoping to get Club Fed, but the fact that he has another criminal matter pending for this role in a fundraising scheme to build the wall prevented that from taking place.
