I normally don’t dabble in local politics on here, but this story was just too good to pass up.

I just watched a video on X of a state Senator in Michigan laying into his fellow senators over a new law that just passed.

If you can believe it, Democrats voted to change a law that takes the power to investigate voter fraud away from the very people who have been tasked with it for the last 70 years.

Bad News

Michigan State Senator Jim Runestad, a Republican, is about to become a cult hero in the Republican Party.

He just shredded his fellow Senators of this new rule.

Here is the situation…

Up until about two years ago, Republicans had complete control of the Michigan state legislature and had it for decades.

The law in question was put into place decades ago, tasking the Board of Canvassers with investigating claims of voter fraud.

During the 2020 election, two Republicans on the board would not certify the election, which led to horrific threats and doxxing.

One of the members was sent a horrific picture of a young girl lying dead in the street from a Democrat with the threat, “I don’t tolerate people like you, in fact, I consider you to be a terrorist and do you know what happens to terrorist Monica???”

Why did they want to block the election results?

Well, during the primary, 72 percent of the precinct’s absentee ballots were off, and during the general election, 70% of the precincts came in with numbers that were off.

So, instead of allowing the Board to investigate, Dems voted to remove that power, which is what led to this floor speech…

That man is a hero, and we are now all on notice to watch the numbers in Michigan in November.
