Donald Trump was on the brink after having won the GOP nomination in the presidential election.

Trump crushed his opponents, but his legal bills have led to his campaign and the RNC running off fumes heading into the new election cycle.

While the Biden campaign boasted more than $100 million cash on hand, Trump only had about $30 million, as well as staring down massive civil judgments.

It All Just Changed

On top of all that, Trump was outraised by Joe Biden by nearly $30 million in the month of March.

That was largely on the strength of Joe Biden’s big event that took place on March 29.

Biden raised a reported $25 million at a Radio City Music Hall event loaded with Hollywood and entertainment elite, charging $100,000 for pictures and as much as $500,000 for private receptions after the event.

Trump countered that event with a big event of his own, raising an unprecedented $50 million at an event hosted by a billionaire hedge fund manager.

Not only that, but Trump also caught a break by having his bond reduced in the New York fraud case from nearly $500 million down to $175 million.

Trump quickly obtained the bond, which was backed by another mega-donor for the Republican Party.

MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle just about had a mental breakdown over all this.

She stated, “He’s the luckiest guy in the world.

“Just think about this — he’s sitting there facing hundreds of millions of dollars and fines and legal bills; he’s got 80-plus charges against him, and he’s running for president.

“He could end up cashing out of this and finding a solution.”

All of a sudden, the Trump campaign has almost as much cash on hand as the Biden campaign, and believe me, that has Democrats very nervous.

It also happened to ruin the latest Biden campaign strategy, which was to mock Trump for his money issues.
