Donald Trump stirred the pot this week by announcing a possible debate.
Don’t get excited if you think he is going to take on his fellow GOP candidates.
Trump asked podcast host Hugh Hewitt to set up a debate with Meghan Markle.
Set It Up
Hewitt had asked Trump if he would consider a debate with Markle “for the ratings.”
Trump responded, “I’d love to debate her.
“I would love it.
“If you want to set it up, let’s set it up.
“Let’s go do something.”

I have not seen an abundance of reactions to this yet, but what I have seen has not been exactly positive.
Donald Trump did not attend the first GOP debate and he will not attend the second one.
What I have seen, however, has been pretty predictable.
Trump supporters love the idea and say Trump would wipe the floor with her.
His detractors are calling him out for not showing up at GOP debates and allowing candidates to face him in person for the comments he has made on the campaign trail.
I would not expect that to change.
