Democrats have been going after Justice Clarence Thomas since he took his seat on the bench.
Now they are starting to turn their attention to Justice Samuel Alito.
Alito recently wrote an op-ed in response to Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) presenting ethics legislation for the Supreme Court.

I find it rather funny that Whitehouse, of all Democrats, is the one preaching here.
This is a man who belongs to a segregated club in his home state.
He is the chosen one here, however.
After Alito’s op-ed stated that there were no provisions in the Constitution for Congress to have oversight on the Supreme Court, Whitehouse declared war.
He then penned a letter to Chief Justice Roberts demanding an investigation into Alito.
In part, he wrote, “In the worst case facts may reveal, Justice Alito was involved in an organized campaign to block congressional action with regard to a matter in which he has a personal stake.
“Whether Justice Alito was unwittingly used to provide fodder for such interference, or intentionally participated, is a question whose answer requires additional facts.”
He continued, “As you have repeatedly emphasized, the Supreme Court should not be helpless when it comes to policing its own members’ ethical obligations.
“But it is necessarily helpless if there is no process of fair fact-finding, nor independent decision-making.
“I request that you as Chief Justice, or through the Judicial Conference, take whatever steps are necessary to investigate this affair and provide the public with prompt and trustworthy answers.”
Dems asked for a similar investigation into Justice Thomas, and Roberts declined.
Do not be surprised if this request meets a similar fate.
