California has recently faced a scandal involving an illegal lab run by a Chinese biotech firm, Prestige Biotech, which was discovered in Reedley.
This lab contained mice that were genetically modified to spread COVID-19.
It turns out that the lab received a $360,000 tax credit from Governor Gavin Newsom’s “GO-Biz” office.
This is certainly troubling news and it raises questions about who else may be involved and how much money is going into these illegal operations.
With so many unknowns, it’s important for us to get to the bottom of this and find out what else might be happening behind closed doors.
According to National Review, court documents revealed that the Centers for Disease Control conducted tests on over 800 chemicals found at the site and identified more than 20 infectious agents present including Hepatitis B & C, streptococcus pneumonia, chlamydia, rubella, and Herpes 1 & 5.
Needless to say this is concerning as these agents could potentially cause serious harm if released into the public through any means other than human testing or approved medical treatments.
In light of this investigation by the CDC, we need to make sure that our money isn’t being funneled into any more illegal labs like this one in California.
We also need to make sure that all safety protocols are being followed so as not to put our citizens’ health at risk.
Additionally, we need answers from Governor Newsom himself on how his office allowed such a thing to happen without proper oversight or accountability in place – especially when taxpayers are footing the bill.
This news makes many wonder just how many other secret labs like this exist within US borders right now?
