Oh, the liberal horde is in need of a big hug right now.
Senator Joe Manchin’s Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) has finally had its day in court… the Supreme Court.
And the Supreme Court said the pipeline can go on, so the green energy crowd is going nuclear.
Big Win for Manchin
The biggest winner is all of this is Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.V.).
He was promised this pipeline by Joe Biden in order to get Manchin to support his big spending bill.
The pipeline has been held up in legislation over protests from the far left in Congress, but Biden finally signed off on it.
After that, the green crowd filed suit to try to block it.
The ruling by the court means that Manchin finally gets some good news to take back home.
In addition to the windfall for the state, landowners in West Virginia will get a nice $250 million bounty.
West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey also celebrated the decision.
He stated, “The Mountain Valley Pipeline is vital to the survival of American energy independence and affects thousands of jobs in West Virginia—its completion is also critical to our national security, the urgent need is for it to be completed as soon as possible.”
It should not take very long for this project to get rolling.
It was already about 90 percent of the way completed, with only the small section of the 303-mile pipeline on the West Virginia side to be completed.
On a different note, moving forward, we now have a precedent that will not sit well with green energy producers and environmentalists, but that is just too damned bad.
