We have sent billions in aid to Ukraine, but as we suspected, not all of that aid is actually getting to Ukraine.

Correction, not all of that aid is staying in Ukraine and being used for its intended purpose.

According to a recent DoD Inspector General’s report, significant portions of the aid that has been sent to Ukraine has been stolen or sold off on the black market.

Nice Job, Joe

Earlier this year, Jon Stewart interviewed US Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks.

One of the topics that came up was the inventory of supplies.

Hicks openly admitted they have no idea what they have, or where it’s located…

So, honestly, this DoD report that millions of dollars in aid to Ukraine is missing did not really shock me.

The report stated, “In late June 2022, the SBU disrupted a group of Ukrainian criminals posing as members of a humanitarian aid organization who distributed bulletproof vests.

“The group illicitly imported the vests and sold them, rather than distributed them to Ukrainian forces. A member of the group was found with a cache of vests worth $17,000.”

It goes on to describe black market sales of weapons, stating, “In late June 2022, the SBU disrupted a group of arms traffickers who were selling weapons and ammunition stolen from the front lines in southern Ukraine.”

The GOP passed legislation for a special inspector general to specifically oversee Ukraine’s aid, but Joe and company insist that the Pentagon IG is more than enough.

Well, I think we just proved them wrong, or perhaps Joe would like to keep supplying Russia with US supplies.

In all honesty, with the amount of aid that is going over to Ukraine, we should have someone on the ground in Ukraine responsible for receiving and inventorying every single item that is sent, but that would be the responsible thing to do, and we know our government never does the responsible thing, especially when it comes to military spending.
