Over the holiday weekend, the Biden administration did another JFK document dump.
The timing of this is very suspicious, occurring on a Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend to bury it in headlines.
Why they would do this was a bit confusing, that was until people started to read through the documents.
The Plot
So far, there are two very curious documents related to the case and both of them involve President Lyndon Johnson.
One of the bigger questions that was raised was why was Johnson so adamant that he did not want an independent investigation into the death of President Kennedy.
With so much speculation about what occurred, what reason would he have to block such an investigation unless he was involved in the plot to kill Kennedy?
Now, I realize that is a bit of a conspiracy angle, but when you piece that together with this second piece, well, you tell me.
After taking office, Johnson gave a unity speech asking Kennedy’s staffer to stay on keep focused on the mission.
However, less than two weeks into his term, Johnson was already looking to replace Robert Kennedy as the Attorney General.
He did not want to directly fire Kennedy, but he wanted to know what, “if any” role that Kennedy wanted to play in the administration after the assassination of his brother.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement and seems more like a push out the door rather than wanting to keep Kennedy as part of the team.
