It is Joe Biden’s way or the highway.
It really is as simple as that.
Once again, Biden has decided that he knows best.
To that point, if GOP legislation to address the border crisis passes, Biden has already stated that it will be vetoed.
Smartest Man in the Room
The GOP legislation would put many of the old Trump policies back in place.
It would continue the border wall as well as offer bonuses for Border Patrol.
Additional agents would also be added to the roster.
Biden says no, however, because apparently record numbers of migrants, drugs, and child trafficking are more humane.
Biden stated, “While we welcome Congress’ engagement on meaningful steps to address immigration and the challenges at the border, this bill would make things worse, not better.
“Because this bill does very little to actually increase border security while doing a great deal to trample on the Nation’s core values and international obligations, it should be rejected.”
Tough sledding when you know everything you put out there will be killed, even if it bipartisan.
All because Joe Biden thinks, make that knows, he is the smartest man in the room.
