ICYMI – Joe Biden still has not been to East Palestine after the train derailment and toxic spill on February 2.
He just managed to take a trip to Ireland for a photo op, but he could not be bothered with an entire town of Americans who are just being blatantly ignored by our government.
And now we know why.
Bad Testing
Residents were told that it was safe to return.
The water is fine, the air fine… but that would all appear to be a lie.
Many of the residents that have returned are all now getting sick.
They are suffering from, among other symptoms, vision impairment, shortness of breath, and sore throats.
Some of them are also testing positive for cancer-causing toxins.
One resident described the backyard of the home where the children used to play as “bubbling.”
Andrew Whelton, a professor of civil engineering and environmental and ecological engineering at Purdue University, stated, “Many statements by government agencies were being made about safety.
“‘The air is safe, the water safe, your homes are safe.’
“But they weren’t actually sharing a lot of the data. And that raised a flag for us.”
Whelton has taken over 300 samples on his own to test the area.
He stated, “When we went there, we were shocked at the scale of contamination that was still flowing around the creeks, that it wasn’t all contained.”
He added, “There were unaddressed acute health risks in the community that were not being tested for.”
It goes without saying that if Trump had done this, the media would be outraged right now.
Instead, nary a peep about, just like when Joe Biden left more than 1,000 Americans behind in Afghanistan.
