Ron DeSantis is going on offense.
After taking non-stop shots from Trump, DeSantis has finally decided to directly respond to the attacks.
DeSantis hit Trump at the start of a recent presser as well as an interview with Fox News’ Piers Morgan.

I love the way that DeSantis hit back.
He is going after character and policy, both of which he can tout huge wins.
DeSantis is using what he is doing in Florida and suggesting it be done on a national scale.
He stated, “In terms of my approach to leadership, I get personnel in the Government who have the agenda of the people and share our agenda.
“You bring your own agenda in you’re gone. We’re just not gonna have that.
“So, the way we run the Government I think is no daily drama, focus on the big picture and put points on the board and I think that’s something that’s very important.”
DeSantis is not bending the knee to defend Trump as many Republicans are doing, but he did go after Bragg.
He described the Manhattan DA as a “Soros-funded prosecutor” who is “pursuing a political agenda and weaponizing the office.”
With DeSantis now firing back, this is going to get ugly, and Trump is going to get hit in a way that he has not been hit yet.
It will be very interesting to see how the polls react to this first volley.
