The hearing at the border this week was loaded with bombshells for both Biden and Mayorkas.
We have already reported on the problems for Mayorkas, so now it Joe’s turn to take a shot.
Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz proved that Biden never consulted with anyone before making a truly idiotic decision regarding the border wall.
Bad Idea
The moment that Joe Biden took office, he ordered the wall stopped.
It was paid for, supplies were in place, but that did not matter to Biden.
He needed to give the far left a win right out of the gate, so he suspended the building of the wall.
Ortiz clearly did not agree with that plan.
He stated, “I do not believe in a wall from sea to shining sea, but I do believe in infrastructure and barrier systems in concentrated areas, especially urban areas. And it’s always been our practice, from 2006 when I was an agent in charge in West Texas to now.
“But I also don’t agree that we should tear down perfectly good barrier system to install something that is based upon requirements that we developed over the last few years.”
Rep. Josh Brecheen (R-OK) wanted to get the official statement on record, so he asked, “Under the prior administration, we had 200-plus miles of wall appropriated and…President Biden by executive order shut that down.
“Do you disagree with his decision to shut down construction?”
Ortiz responded, “Yes, sir.”
We are not surprised at all.
