The Biden climate change agenda to shut down the fossil fuel industry was just blown out of the water.
The funny thing is that it was a Biden staffer that did.
Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm just openly admitted that the oil and gas industry will be needed for years to come.”
Can’t Do It
Common sense says that we cannot do completely without the industry.
We have already seen how dangerous it can be to go 100 percent renewable.
When you consider the energy problems that California has and it only relies on renewables for a small percentage, it is a pretty telling sign that we cannot go 100 percent renewable any time in the near future.
Granholm was at the CERAWeek conference in Houston when she not only broke the news, but she also blew another Biden narrative out of the water.
Granholm stated, “Now, look. We know that oil and gas will remain part of our energy mix for years to come.
“And we know that even the boldest projections for clean energy deployment suggest that, in the middle of this century, we’ll be using abated fossil fuels.
“We need to advance the technologies for abating fossil emissions, and we need to advance the technologies for clean sources.
“We need both traditional and new energy.
“As this transition progresses, our energy mix will change.”
Granholm would later congratulate the industry for increasing production to help stabilize the world market, yet Biden has been putting his boot on their throat, blaming them (as well as Trump) for all the problems.
Here is a crazy idea… how about incentive the industry to produce a cleaner product emission-wise and work with them rather than against them.
Do that, and all that money they are socking away because they think the Dems want to put them out of business can start being used to invest in clean technology.
